WbLL- what boredom looks like...

The title should say it all. But, if you need more of an explanation, I cook when I am bored.

Apple Crumb Muffins

1 1/2 Cups of Unsweetened Applesauce (either store bought or homemade is fine)
1 cup (100gms) white sugar
1 slightly beaten egg
1/3 cup (75 gms) melted margarine or butter
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup walnuts
2 tablespoons of caramel natural flavoring
Topping:
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons of caramel natural flavoring
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3 tablespoons melted butter

Mix the applesauce, caramel, sugar, egg and margarine together. Set aside. In a separate bowl, mix together baking soda, baking powder, salt and flour. Mix wet and dry ingredients all together. Pour into greased muffin tins
In a separate bowl mix flour, caramel, sugar and cinnamon. Next, drizzle in the melted butter and stir to create small pebbles. Add a spoonful on top of each muffin and press slightly into the batter.
Bake in 350 degrees oven for approximately 20 minutes.
